Privacy & dignity

Your privacy, in plain language.

This community has every reason to be careful about who knows what. So we'll be straightforward about how this site treats you — and just as clear about what we haven't built yet.

You can browse without an account

There's nothing to sign up for on this website. You don't need a legal name, documents, or a location to explore resources. Look around as long as you like.

Reaching out isn't logged here

When you tap a phone number or open an organization's website, you go straight to them. This site doesn't keep a record of who you called or what you looked at.

Verification is optional — never a gate

In the Same Ground app, confirming your service is entirely your choice. It can unlock peer-only community spaces, but it is never required to find or use resources and support.

The resources are independent

The organizations listed here set their own privacy practices. When you contact them, their rules apply — so it's worth asking them directly what they keep and share.

What we don't claim. We're not going to promise things we haven't verified. This site does not claim regulatory compliance, encryption, guaranteed anonymity, or any specific data-handling certification. If you choose “Notify me,” we use your email only to confirm that request and send one launch notice. It is not connected to a Same Ground account, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. As the product grows, this page will be updated to describe exactly what changes.
